• To secure a booking, orders require a date reservation fee, as specified by Pat-a-Cake Parties. Orders are only deemed to have been accepted once the fee and signed order form are received and acknowledged by Pat-a-Cake Parties.

• Celebration cake orders placed less than one week before the required date must be paid in full at time of booking.

• Date reservation fees are non-refundable and cannot be transferred to another order.

• Customers who cancel an order for a celebration cake (excluding wedding cakes), cookies or other goods within one week of the delivery date will be charged 50% of the outstanding balance.

• The balance of payment for a wedding cake is due three weeks before the delivery date. If a wedding cake is cancelled within 3 weeks of the delivery date, the full cost of the cake will be non-refundable.

• Accepted methods of payment are cash, bank transfer and cheque.

• Cheques are accepted if received by Pat-a-Cake Parties at least 10 days before the order is due.

• Pat-a-Cake Parties reserves the right to replace one or more cake tiers with a ‘dummy’ cake in exceptional circumstances, in order to maintain the integrity of the cake or to use ‘artistic licence’ to make minor alterations to the agreed design.

• Pat-a-Cake Parties is no longer responsible for any cake once it has been collected by the customer or their representative. If Pat-a-Cake parties is commissioned to deliver and set up the cake, it will remain our responsibility until such time that it is handed over to the customer or their representative e.g. caterer or venue management.

• Whilst every reasonable effort will be made by Pat-a-Cake Parties to deliver a cake, we cannot be held liable for weather, traffic, or other conditions which are beyond our control. Any financial compensation for non-delivery, which is deemed the fault of Pat-a-Cake Parties, is limited to the cost of the order.

• Pat-a-Cake Parties is not responsible for allergic reactions to any ingredient used in cakes or other products (e.g. cookies). Cakes can be made without nuts or nut products, but as nuts are used in the kitchen, we cannot guarantee that cross-contamination will not occur. It is the responsibility of the customer to inform those who may eat the cake or other products produced by Pat-a-Cake Parties that allergens could be present.
